She gets almost giddy hearing that⸻letting out a giggle she fails to stifle. ⠀``I'm glad you liked it!`` A slightly sly smirk forms on her face. ⠀``Consider it my apology fer not makin’ it t’ the World Tournament ♡ I 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 wanted t’ go, but ... y’know how leagues »

“Thank you, thank you!” Skyla gently opens the wrapping and then takes one onigiri in hand. Her eyes shined before taking a bite. She chewed slowly, savoring the taste while humming softly. “This…this is amazing! The rice is so soft… it’s like… such a comforting taste~”

can be, m‘sure.`` Truthfully, she'd approached in recognition and hopes for a battle ... but Kotone's not dishonourable enough to battle a hungry opponent. Of course, considering she got an invite, and clearly isn't Unovan ... guesses may be made at her identity!

⠀``Not at all! Dig in⸻I made ’em myself ♡`` An eager look flashes in her eyes. ⠀``Go on! Tell me what’cha think!`` It's a homemade teriyaki sauce seasoning tofu stuffing. Rich in protein, yet, no pokémon are harmed in its making. Kotone's proud of her handiwork!

A gentle smile. “Are you sure? Thank you. You’re so kind!” The gym leader takes the wrapping, and she looks back at Kotone. “Do you mind if I eat one now?” She asked, not wanting to be rude.

Kotone shakes her head. ⠀``Uh-uh. I can always make more back at home ... or get somethin’ off a street stall. You can have these.`` Hearing no protest, she gathers the wrapping and offers again.

Kotone's eyes narrow, as their respective pokémon mirror one another. It's hard to say where either truly is ... but that doesn't stop her from pumping her fists at her sides. ⠀``Use Toxic!`` With unassailable speeds, the mirages take one Gallade each, before rushing them »
