Now it's an update! Things have gotten a bit under control. People are allowed back to their homes and the smoke is gone! We even had a rain pour in town that lasted all day, off and on but it helped a lot! We haven't had rain since the fires began.
Now we have clear air again and are able to open our windows, too!
We're still keeping our guards up in case the fires do a uno reverse sometime in September. The news people or whomever suspected the fires to last into September a while back.
What's even worse is this, I found in the link. What the hell does this mean?? It still doesn't matter if ya turn it off??

You can literally just use regular AI that's supposed to help content creators that's NOT generative AI. Not whatever this is!!!

I think until that time comes...we all need to be VERY loud about our dislike for the recent changes.
Personally, I will be adding an anti AI logo on my stream and making a channel specific emote.
I would also like to ask those who are subbing to move their donations to my KO-FI or my Youtube.

I already commented but man am I beyond disappointed in twitch CEO. Pathetic and corrupt decisions with no consent about training a stupid generative AI model on people who NEVER wanted this.
We've added a setting that lets you opt out of having your channel content used to train generative AI content models across Amazon.

Sorry for not streaming lately. Ya boy has been sad lol. But I'm gonna try my best to get back into it VERY slowly on le purple app. Let's give this schedule a shot

Not really an update as for us, we haven't gotten any alarm warning us to evacuate. Yet. We're still uncertain but we have at least essentials setup for any such cases. Still praying for everyone's safety and for this fire ploom to stop.
And the wildfire is still too dangerous. It's still so crazy how fast the fire spread. We're all so bewildered by it. We've never seen anything like it before but at least everyone was quick to respond and evacuate.
An update. We suspect that our town might get the alarm to evacuate as well. The fire is still far but we can't be too sure if it'll get near or here. So we're just preparing our essentials in case we do get the alarm to evacuate. For now we are just waiting and watching the news
It has never gotten this bad at all before. To the point that even our town might have to evacuate. It has never happened to this town before. This frightening.
I'm sorry that this is my first post in months. I'm just so angry about all these wildfires and especially this newest one that has gotten so much worse. At least lots of people, communities are helping each other out as best as they can. I pray for everyone and their safety.
Why am I not surprised. Yesterday, we believe, someone has started a fire ploom and it's so bad people were evacuated to other towns to take shelter, so many homes taken and now the air is so bad it's hard to breath.
