Posts will no longer be getting crossposted here from Mast0don. I'll still check messages and stuff occasionally, but there probably won't be any new stuff here unless it's something important-ish. ttfn o/

It has an oddly quirky aperture ring. When the dot is on f/16, the aperture is wide open. When the dot is on f/2, it's closed at what I can only assume is f/16.

Saw what looked like a doe on the hard shoulder of the motorway on my journey home today. Feel sorry for the deer /and/ whoever hit it. x.x

A photo (not a screenshot because I'm a heathen) of ffxiv; a character called Jannequinard (sorry TTS people) with a quest marker, which is an exclamation point, above his head.

A photo of a quest in ffxiv, the description is "So eager is Jannequinard to talk with you, it is almost as if there were a giant exclamation point hovering above his head."

The Deck has appeared. Haven't powered it on yet to see if it's fixed 😅

All fixed! The new display has more of a dark bluey-purple tint to it when it's powered off. Doesn't affect anything, just an observation. Different manufacturer probably. The slightly weird shoulder buttons seem to be fixed too? I didn't even mention… meemu.org/@Auri/110435358130…

Progress! It's only a week after they said they'd deliver it. The ETA is now tomorrow by "end of day" because of course it is.

Can't even divert it to come some time next week because their website sucks and won't let me log in or change my password. e.e

Weh. The car's rear spoiler thingy is a bit loose. I can hear it vibrating when I go on bumpy roads, and it shakes a bit when I close the boot. At least /this/ should be something I can fix myself.

Was just a case of tightening a couple of bolts. They were pretty loose 😬 Glad I caught it before it ended up as someone else's hood ornament lol Going to put some thread lock on it while I'm at it.

First interview in a while, and they don't show up (I'm the one being interviewed, but it's a phone interview so I'm waiting on them). Ho hum. Gonna give them half an hour, which'll be another 5-10 mins from now, then it's maps tiem in #ffxiv.

Any interest in a mostly working Pebble watch before I eBay it? :boost_ok: "Mostly working" as in: it connects fine, receives time/notifications, can communicate fully with your phone, working backlight... but if it vibrates, the… meemu.org/@Auri/110423601038…

Want to just use it as a watch syncs its time from your phone, so it's always correct? Perfect. Or maybe even check notifications but not receive annoying vibrations for them? This is for you. x)

hokay as soon as I get my first uc payment I'm getting the car's air-con regassed (assuming that's all that needs doing 🙃) yesterday wasn't very bearable, and it's not even the height of summer yet. considering I… meemu.org/@Auri/110419099025…
