Jeremy and Katie Dillard have been an i9 Sports family since their son, Ezra, found joy in a low-stress flag football league that focused on participation and fun. Now, eight seasons later, the Dillards have launched their own @i9Sports franchise — the program's 300th location — to bring that same brand of positive competition to more children like their own.
Meet the Dillards, and learn more about i9 Sports' unique youth sports model from i9 Sports President Ron Shimek here: bit.ly/4hKS3gr

My like button is turning into a football today! I’m finally getting a super chill weekend with nothing but CFB today.
My multiview is UGA/Vandy, UNC/ND and MSU/Bama.
What are yall looking forward to today? I got my eyes on Mizzou/Florida and SC/Kentucky later…

Yesterday, McClatchy laid off more than 90 unionized media workers across 17 publications.
The departure of these talented reporters, visual journalists & writers will immediately leave gaping holes in local coverage for dozens of communities across the US.
This week, I was tasked with creating the ultimate 2026 college football road trip for @SportsTravel. No repeated cities, a *healthy* mix of conferences and catching every AP preseason top 10 team at least once.
How do y'all think I did?

Friends… I have a story idea and I need some help with it.
I’m wondering if anyone has a fantasy league where team managers travel to a destination for an in-person draft. Not like “we all meet up downtown,” but you’ve turned it into a trip!

Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve shared news, but I’m thrilled to announce I started as an associate editor with @SportsTravel last week! I’ll be covering all things sports-related travel/event hosting. I’m excited to build connections and share my work! sportstravelmagazine.com/aug…
I’m on crutches and worked a full day but still had PLENTY of time to go vote in South Carolina this afternoon! Thankful for democracy and kind poll workers!
Everyone is talking about the Germans exploring the South but I truly feel an extra close connection since they’ve visited places my family always vacationed/day tripped to (Helen, Brasstown Bald, all the areas around ATL) and are now loving Chattanooga — literally home for me ❤️

@GoHeels deleted a Pride month post.
Jane Winik Sartwell poked around to find why. Apparently it “violated the UNC System’s Equality Policy, which requires neutrality on political and social issues.”
IMO: Embarrassing, but unfortunately not surprising.

Shout out to @KnightsBaseball pitcher Zach Franklin for giving my eldest son a sports memory he will never forget.
He’s not super into baseball but I took him to the game tonight for some father-son time, and he patiently waited the entire game hoping to catch a foul ball.
What he got was better. Franklin at the end of the game tossed him a ball. And he’s hooked now. The entire ride home he was talking about his ball and the schedule and Franklin’s gesture.
Sports are wonderful, man. Kindness is even better.
