Atzay vient d'exhumer l'incarnation madrilène d'un Aghast Neofolk, c'est magnifique.
Enigmatic folk, can't quite tell if it's sanctified or unholy, feels both surreptitiously witchy but also formal in a liturgical sense. Lot of brass action, plus a good dose of post-industrial malaise, very fascinating.

1986 to 1988 was a big time for proto-dungeon synth, with various artists arriving at it from both a darkwave & a progressive electronic/new age angle, however if I were to pinpoint the cradle of the genre it would be here this fateful day in 1986, Norway

The line between noise rock and shoegaze can be pretty fine, especially when firmly rooted in post-punk! No space left for dreaming here though, the surrounding dereliction's encroach is total.
