I just clocked that our front 4 is every player that has scored a goal in 2026. Can’t fault that logic if you’re lacking for goals in recent form.

Ability to operate in tight spaces isn’t a requirement for being a top player though. Pace, power, sharp movement and decision making, clean ball striking, all more essential

He was at Westham when we spent all summer of 2022 chasing De Jong only to end up with Casemiro for 70M. Rice left for Arsenal the following year

-Tactically I feel Mourinho’s shortcoming is that he doesn’t understand modern wide strikers. -Psychologically I feel Mourinho can’t connect with anyone under 25. -But it’s the drop in level of workrate/intensity/explosiveness of his teams that’s an underdiscussed issue imo
