Remember falling asleep on the couch during family holiday gatherings?
You could hear the adults talking and laughing in the background, dishes being put away, and the TV playing softly.
You didn't have a care in the world. You just knew everyone was there, and you were safe.
It's funny how much you miss those ordinary nights, especially the people who made them feel like home.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how the Steelers can look so good one week and so terrible the next.

There’s nothing quite like switching the heat on for the first time in half a year and having your nose assaulted with the scent of Eau de Housefire.

I truly feel sorry for anyone who doesn't watch college football.
Today has already been an all-timer.
People who are highly aware become unsociable. Crowds drain them. Noise overwhelms them. Small talk feels like work. They chill different. A cozy room. Two people they trust. Good food. Music. Conversations that actually mean something. That’s where they feel alive. Depth over noise. Because for them... peace feels like home.

Can we please start talking about how during menopause falling estrogen levels is linked to falling neurotransmitter levels, like serotonin and dopamine. Our brains CHANGE during menopause. My patients anecdotally can’t mask their ADHD anymore, they’re more irritable and “blah,” and they’re anxious like they downed 3 regular cups of coffee in a row. Anyone else? XO, Dr. Jen

Gut-wrenching news at today's #Mizzou press conference: freshman offensive lineman Johnnie "DJ" Jones is on a heart transplant list, after freshmen intake tests detected a problem.
"It's tough right now," HC Eli Drinkwitz said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family, as they go through this. I know Johnnie was watching our game [against Florida]. It's just hard. An 18-year-old with everything in front of him and you're just not prepared for that kind of news...We're praying for him and I know a lot of Mizzou fans will hopefully join in that prayer because he does need help in a hurry."
