I attempted to document Aberrant Plexus, the point at which the Institute for Psychogametous Life escaped the page and occupied 2 storeys in East London.
12 years to imagine. 1 year to produce. 10 days to build. Alien larvae, responsive xenomycelium, fungal transmissions, tattoo pollination, compromised containment, and nearly 300 people through the Institute on its first night.

Psychogametous Transmission Study follows the instant perception expands into communion. Psychogametous lifeforms encode biological data into images, texts, and sounds, using human cognition as a host medium, transforming thought and perception into reproductive processes. Unlike memes or linguistic “word viruses,” they manifest physically after informational transmission, blurring distinctions between the living and the representational. Their continual mutation through creative reinterpretation suggests a hybrid form of evolution in which information itself becomes a biological vector.
