Three new antennas. One already live, two more on the way. Each started with a customer telling us where they needed coverage.
A federated network is not a fixed map. It's a map that responds and grows to meet customer and industry demand.
Polar orbits touch the high latitudes on nearly every revolution.
ATLAS already operates in the high north. Now two more antennas are in work: Aasiaat, Greenland and Loring, Maine, the northernmost site in the continental US.
More contacts. More resilience.
Sharper weather forecasts and satellite servicing both reached orbit yesterday. 🛰️
Congrats to @tomorrowio_ on Tomorrow-S12 and S13, and to @StarfishSpace on its first Otter, all aboard @SpaceX #Transporter18.
Fourteen months ago we brought our first antenna online in Rwanda. Today there are two. Hosted by @RwandaSpace at the Mwulire teleport. Equatorial capacity for low-inclination missions is now doubled.

A polar orbit crosses the high latitudes on every revolution.
ATLAS is already there. 71°N in Alaska, the northernmost ground station in the US. 68°N in Finland.
Spread stations far enough apart and where one's view ends, another's begins. No pass goes unseen.
Every orbit has a geography problem.
Polar orbits cross the high latitudes nearly every revolution and barely see the equator. Inclined orbits do the opposite.
Where a ground station sits decides how often you reach your spacecraft. Which is why we don't add antennas at random.
Live today. A second antenna is now operating at our ground station in Mwulire, Rwanda.
An equatorial site sees inclined orbits again and again, and one antenna can only take one contact at a time. Now it can take two.
With thanks to @RwandaSpace!
You asked. Now we're building.
Customers told us where they needed coverage: go further north and add capacity where we are already busiest.
3 new antennas are now in the works. Mwulire, Rwanda; Aasiaat, Greenland; Loring, Maine. Our network grows where our customers point.
Last year we asked our customers a simple question. Where do you need us?
The answers were specific. Go north. Add capacity where we are already busiest.
Those answers are now a build schedule. Three new antennas are in the works.
Happy Labor Day from all of us at ATLAS Space Operations!
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone on our team and across the industry who work tirelessly to keep everything moving forward. We hope you enjoy the long weekend. You've earned it.
VLEO is going from a hard problem to a real market. Six months means a mission can be built for a problem that exists today.
York is expanding into one of the fastest-growing segments in space: VLEO.
Proven through our BANE demonstration, the new LX/V-CLASS platform is ready to meet growing demand. Leveraging York’s existing inventory, the LX/V-CLASS can be deployed as quickly as 6 months after contract.
