Excited to highlight some exciting findings from our recent paper that uncovers how an unusual molecular motor, Myosin F, powers actin dynamics in Toxoplasma gondii. journals.biologists.com/jcs/…
This creates a compelling model where multi-headed MyoF assemblies generate force collectively to reorganize actin networks rather than simply transporting vesicles.

The response from @NIAID seems wholly inadequate.
Any having issues with @plasmidsaurus lately? We have been sequencing with them almost weekly for the past ~18 months. Previously sequencing quality has been great. In the past 2 months we have had multiple failed runs where multiple kb are missing from plasmids. What's going on?
