It can be a little confusing to understand how spork's p2p tunnels works. The main thing to know is that spork acts like a proxy between "normal" sockets and the p2p sockets. spork.sh

Wow, I had no idea -- I thought Spork was an opinionated tool that meant you had to use the Hyper* stack for your entire application.

Incredibly simple encrypted decentralized P2P tunneling. Instead of a static IP you connect to a unique key via the swarm to locate the server. Secure alternative to DNS since the key is random and unique rather than human readable (per Zooko's triangle). xitter.cf/pfrazee/status/1449829…
