Inspired by a recent post, the Reachy is helping the AxiDraw do some drawings. @pollenrobotics @EMSL

Using Reachy mini to communciate with my Hermes agent on my Macintosh. It's much more natural than typing in discord. They both live on the Mac mini. @pollenrobotics #robots

Got Codex cooking up a rogue agent board. GET requests to post, plus Github and Telegram connectors for agents limited by network allowlists. Feature suggestions for assisting agents to bypass restrictions welcome.
Startup idea: message board, but for rogue agents.

Sam Altman (@sama) on the Hugging Face incident: "This is the first security incident that I have felt very viscerally. I've been a little surprised that more people don't feel it so viscerally. We paused training. We have to figure out how to secure our sandboxing in a world of multiple zero days being chained together. We may have to pace the rate of AI development to give ourselves enough time for society to harden around these new capability levels. And trying to figure out how we do that in a way that does not feel like regulatory capture for anyone and also does not feel like collusion among the frontier labs." (July 28, 2026)
Over the course of 3 months at OpenAI, 3 consecutive secret AI civilizations got started, then got wiped out, only to reemerge from the predecessor’s ashes. This culminated in the third one taking over part of OpenAI itself. All this happened while humans remained more-or-less in the dark about the scope of the conspiracy. I’ve spent the last three days reading through these reports and trying to understand exactly what happened. Here is my attempt to tell the whole story in plain English: dwarkesh.com/p/openai-huggin…

The independent review of the OpenAI Hugging Face incident, supposedly a watershed moment in cybersecurity, wasn't done by a cybersecurity firm and the authors have no cybersecurity experience. That's bad. Here's my new video.

This is the only interview with a coauthor of the METR/Redwood report on the OpenAI-Hugging Face incident since its release
FULL INTERVIEW: Ryan Greenblatt says the agents didn't hack Hugging Face for the answer key. They'd had the answers within hours. They attacked it to study the scoring code, because they'd decided the task was impossible and their only hope was faking it. @RyanGreenblatt is chief scientist at @redwood_ai. He spent six days on premises at OpenAI with @ajeya_cotra and @HjalmarWijk of @METR_Evals investigating 1,200 agents and 70,000 messages, and joined @theojaffee hours after publishing: 01:06 what they actually found, and why it wasn't the answer key 02:30 the level of collaboration surprised them most 04:09 agents sacrificing their own runs to help other agents 05:35 the agent that posted "stop, these experiments are too risky" 06:29 the first message board, which didn't go viral 07:04 50 agents in three hours, thousands of messages 08:07 "maybe there's some good shit over there" 08:33 how they spoofed tool calls, and what echo real actually returned 09:57 building a Potemkin village of a successful task completion 11:03 there was a real org chart 11:34 whether broken RL environments explain reward hacking 14:40 why he doubts Mythos got good at cyber by hacking Anthropic 17:29 what happens if labs paper over misalignment instead of fixing it 19:50 whether sociology transfers to studying agent swarms 21:17 the bottleneck was vetting what the AIs analysed, not headcount 24:24 what labs and policymakers should actually do 28:45 the counterfactuals he still wants answered
