✨REPRESENTATION MATTERS✨ Even tho its been a week since I did an impromptu stream of @UsualJuneGame Demo, I'm still amazed at how well it was received by my community. I've been waiting for this game's release for a while now. LIVE, I couldn't recall when I first saw the trailer for this game. But a quick Google search jogged my memory. I caught a glimpse of Usual June during The Game Awards 2023. Back then I remembered watching the show with my community in my Discord server. Even then some members commented on the similarities between the MC and my Vtuber model. I immediately added the game to my wishlist because I loved the aesthetics and felt connected with the character. It's no secret my Vtuber is an extension of me and resembles myself IRL with certain properties. Knowing others see this as well is validating in a sense. Also I love, love, love, love, LOVE seeing a black female protagonist in an action-adventure game. Any game where I feel represented and a badass is a WIN in my book. I'm not a big Streamer / Vtuber / Creative / Influencer (in my eyes), by any means. There are people with a larger fanbase, following, and view count higher than mine. But it means the world to me when the few who do manage to drop by my streams leave messages like the ones I captured below. Regardless of your size, you can still make a big enough impact on someone and hopefully put them onto something grand. 💙🐉
