Our UI previews are: 0⃣ Zero-configuration required (no environment variables, virtual-machine, etc) ⚡️ Ready much faster than other background agent feature demos 🎨 Nicer than reviewing a diff, allow non-technical team-members to review frontend changes Review the code if you want; don't skip reviewing the product

As AI writes more of the code, human review matters more, not less. So when @assert_labs approached us to design and build a site ahead of their public launch, we know it would require an honest, brutalist, developer-native aesthetic. We wanted to reach senior engineers who care deeply about code quality, focusing on validating warm referrals rather than cold-converting from social. We designed against the grain. We ignored the trendy golden light and oil-painting AI renaissance look. We needed something honest and built for the engineer actually reading the diff. Assert was built for the people who still read code.

And we are looking to hire our first engineers! - cozy office in the Mission (SF), just down the street from Hedge Coffee - tiny, technical, and talent-dense team - hiring slowly and well - we value: intellectual curiosity, debate, grit, first-principles thinking - what your work looks like: a) iterating closely with our customers (fast-growing, AI-native startups) b) owning large parts of our product end-to-end (infra, web & native full-stack development, applied AI) c) working on asynchronous, long-running agents d) developing new primitives for review and VCS for the AI era e) spending a lot of your day in the product you're building (flow state) reach out if interested
