Build the firm only you can build

We just had our first big launch party with 250+ppl people stopping by, THANK YOU everyone that came to support! ❤️ When @NeilRaina and I went through YC a few yrs ago, @patrickc came to speak and one of the things that stuck with us is just how intense their early team was about getting new users set up successfully. That technique subsequently got called a 'Collison Installation' and the idea is that instead of passively asking "Will you try this beta?" over email, you meet you users where they are IRL, pull them aside, and get them set up on the spot. That's exactly what we did. At the party, @ViviennexChen, @NeilRaina, Kevin Foley, and others on the team cold approached folks, pulled them aside, and we built some great apps together. Not surprisingly, the feedback was stellar; much better than what you get over an email exchange.

We’re so confident that Assembly can make you money that for the next 48 hours we’re doubling included build credits. We lose a lot of money on this (thank you to our VCs). Try it: studio.assembly.com

Kudos to the team for another incredible release. 🙏 We're now another step closer to building the OS for service businesses, powering everything from payments, messaging, contracts, and more. Check out the video to see me demo everything that's new.

This gets at the #1 product principle we have at @copilot. We start with & prioritize the client experience, and then work backwards to figure out what that means for the internal/team experience. Service firms compete on service, and the client-facing software you use is a big part of that. Yet it seems like most software vendors are obsessed with the internal experience only.
We aren't "users" of our own firms We don't use the systems our clients use every day, we use our internal systems The result is we're biased to prioritize the internal over the external
