Can anyone offer any reasonable explanation as to why anyone in the senate would not take immediate action to replace Thune now? I mean other than the obvious being that they fully support the idea that the will of 77 million legal American voters should be openly ignored!

Why do Americans let their governments tax them on unrealized gains on their homes?

Elon Musk got rejected by Netscape. He walked into the lobby, was too shy to talk to anyone, and walked out. Never got the job. At his first company Zip2, the board demoted him. Twice. They refused to let him be CEO. He got fired from PayPal as CEO while flying to his own honeymoon. The board voted him out mid air. He almost died of malaria in 2000. Ten days in intensive care. Lost 45 pounds. A day from death. His first child died at 10 weeks old. His first rocket exploded. Falcon 1, flight one. Burned on the pad. His second rocket exploded. His third rocket exploded. The last of his money was nearly gone. Tesla nearly went bankrupt in 2008. The closest he ever came to a nervous breakdown. Both companies almost died on the same Christmas Eve. He was sued by investors. Mocked by the people who built cars before him. His childhood heroes, the astronauts who inspired him, testified against his company to Congress. The Cybertruck window shattered on live stage in front of the world. He overpaid for Twitter by his own admission and watched its value collapse. He was beaten unconscious as a child and thrown down a flight of stairs. He has said he goes to sleep alone and it kills him. He failed in public, over and over, for thirty years. He is the richest man in the history of the world. The difference was never the absence of failure. It was the refusal to stop after it.

Joe Rogan watches in disbelief as a video reveals America’s “nonprofit” hospitals actually rake in $45,000,000,000 in profit every year. ROGAN: “Motherf*ckers.” One CEO at NYU Langone paid himself $15,300,000 a year. Other CEOs paid themselves $4,500,000 while nurses made about $70,000 a year. P. DAVIS JONES: “A congressman recently described some nonprofit hospitals as ‘hedge funds with hospital beds,’ and I was like, ‘I bet they are.’” “The total revenues of nonprofit hospitals in America in 2023 was $1.3 trillion. Nonprofit hospitals were making $45 billion worth of profit.” “A study that looked at almost 1,500 nonprofit hospitals found that 86% of them provided LITTLE TO NO charity.” “It goes to executives, these CEOs getting paid about $4.5 million a year. Meanwhile, their nurses make about 70K.” “Here’s a guy, Robert [Grossman], at a hospital in New York who paid himself $15.3 million a year. Nonprofit hospital.”

🚨 The banking cartel is in full panic mode. 🚨 While Americans were celebrating Mother’s Day with their families, the CEO of the American Bankers Association sent a frantic alert to every bank CEO in the country, demanding “immediate engagement” to lobby Senators and kill stablecoins that would finally let everyday Americans earn real yields on their own money. This line in the letter sticks out: “we believe committee members may not be fully aware of the risks to the economy by the stablecoin loophole.” That’s both intellectually dishonest and simultaneously demeaning. First, there is no “loophole.” This entire issue was litigated during the GENIUS Act debate. @BillHagertyTN worked tirelessly on this issue and this statement is an insult to his and others work. For decades, these banks have treated your deposits like their personal piggy bank, paying you next to nothing while lending YOUR money out for massive profits and executive bonuses. During the Biden era, these same banks worked hand-in-glove with @SenWarren and her allies to debank Americans, including President Trump’s own family. They shut down accounts of conservatives, patriots, and anyone who dared challenge the regime, all while regulators applied pressure under schemes like Operation Choke Point 2.0. It wasn’t about risk. It was about political control. Now that innovative stablecoins threaten to break their monopoly and give you actual financial freedom? They’re running to Congress again, screaming about “threats to economic growth and financial stability.” Translation: Protect the racket at all costs. The Senate Banking Committee votes on landmark crypto legislation this Thursday. As a member of that committee, my message is clear: Hands off the people’s money. Let Americans choose real competition and better returns. No more shielding Wall Street from the future. The banking elite’s days of rigging the system and debanking their political enemies are over. Innovation, freedom, and the American people will win. I’m voting to break the cartel.

It’s what they do. “In my studies of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponds to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse, when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.” -Theodore Dalrymple on propaganda

Glyphosate is making Americans sick. The people that are the poorest are consuming the highest amounts. It is poison. Literally. The farm bill must be stopped until provisions protecting glyphosate are removed.

What shocks me about this story is that the press could so quickly find out where this lunatic purchased the firearms he was using to storm the press dinner. There are strict laws preventing the government from keeping records or lists of any kind as to who purchased any gun including when or where. So where did this information come from? nypost.com/2026/04/26/us-new…

There is nothing more important for our representatives in both houses of Congress than passing comprehensive election integrity legislation. I don't know how anyone can be against the security of our elections unless they are working for enemies of our Constitution!

Hypothetically…….. I’m being taxed on money I never made. Let that sink in. If I bought my property outright for $60,000 in 2009 Now the county says it’s worth $246,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I make a profit? No. Did I get a check for $246,000? No. But my taxes jumped like I did. That’s the problem. This isn’t income. This isn’t cash. This is a number someone decided on paper — and now I’m being billed for it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell. If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax. So why does owning a home work differently? Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains? A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.” It’s about being charged for value you never received. And people are starting to notice. This needs to be on everyone’s mind✔️

If you don't know the story about boiling a frog, you should look into it because America, much like Europe has been in the pot for years with the temps slowly rising and most of their citizens do not realize their being cooked.

What if... what if the couple of Republicans who are highly vocal and visible as opponents to the lack of action in Congress to pass meaningful legislation that will protect our democracy and return security to our elections and institutions... What if they are plants who have been told to make noise, be the voice of opposition, and promote action while actually doing nothing to move the country in the right direction? what if these people we are putting faith in are actually a pawn in the deep states plan to undermine President Trump and the future of our civil liberties? What if they (you know who "they" are) are all part of the biggest con against the American people?

Are ANY NGO's not simply secret arms of the C1A? I mean none of them do what they proclaim with the tax dollars Congress gives them, they all give direct and indirect kickbacks to the congressmen who fund them (which then gives the NGO (again, read as C!a) the ability to blackmail (control) those congressmen)

Democrats keep saying they need to increase taxes on the "richest people" I say that government needs to drastically cut spending across the board so they can cut taxes for everyone. Which do you think needs to happen?
