Well said. Programming is dead.

Here is Proton CTO's AI manifesto, that I obtained multiple copies of 404media.co/manifestos-fear-…
the coding "white knights" are the ones struggling with this the most
if you're not AI pilled, you're going to have a relatively bad time in this space going forward
we will need to rebuild and rewrite much of software to adapt to a new, faster pace.
code used to arrive one drop at a time. soon, if not already, code will be written as if it were a continuous stream, like a violent river twisting and turning as it pleases.
this is not a new thing: big tech cos have had to deal with this with the enormous scale of their engineering teams. but now ai has brought an incredibly elastic and capable workforce wielded by every engineer. this is your problem now, and the only way to adapt is to evolve your systems so agents - even and especially the ones with little context about the right way of doing things - can thrive. make the easy thing the right thing.
your codebase is becoming organic architecture. agent contributions grow around the constraints and guardrails you’ve designed. good software engineering matters even more now! and no, the continuous stream of code is not something you have to watch helplessly. be more ambitious and design systems, frameworks, and languages to control the chaos.
the time for mourning coding is long over
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

I’ve reached a point where I’m like not excited about new models. There are too many releases, too many people overhype those releases, and it feels like marginal gains.
I feel like the models from the last few months are good enough for my coding needs at least.

It’s always funny watching people on X lose their minds over the latest issue because they suddenly care so deeply about their fellow human beings.
Meanwhile, they’re wearing clothes made in questionable labor conditions, speed-typing their outrage on a $1,000 phone built through a global supply chain they’ve never questioned, ordering cheap shit from companies they know exploit workers, buying products from corporations they swear are evil, using platforms that they want shut down, and happily ignoring human suffering on the other side of the world because it isn’t trending on their timeline this week.
We all participate in systems we probably wouldn’t be proud of if we actually followed the entire supply chain.
That’s kind of the point.
Most of you don’t actually care about these things nearly as much as you think you do. You care because it’s the current thing making you angry, everyone around you is talking about it, and right now it has your attention.
Then the timeline moves on, and most of you will too.
SAM ALTMAN SAYS SHOPIFY'S CEO IS 8 MONTHS AHEAD OF EVERYONE ELSE
sam altman on shopify ceo tobi lutke:
"he is always six, eight months ahead of any other CEO."
and the reason isnt that he has some secret access to better ai, sam says he actually sits there using the tools himself instead of letting a team figure it out for him
i think thats a bigger deal than it sounds
ai changes way too fast to only learn about it from meetings and reports. by the time somebody explains what changed, the people actually using it already felt the difference weeks ago
if u never touch the tool, u never really learn what its capable of
u can have a whole company adopting ai while the person making the biggest decisions understands it the least
sometimes staying ahead is literally just being willing to do the thing yourself
