Warm greetings from India!
It's with great honour that I delivered the keynote address at the 24th International Conference of Chief Justices across the globe. I shared a lot of perspective from Ghana/Africa on global issues of digital evolution, food security, (1/2)
I recently made a modest donation to support the victims of the devastating flood in the Volta Region, caused by the Akosombo Dam spillage. It's truly distressing to witness homes submerged, farmers losing their livelihoods, and valuable property swept away (1/3)
I implore the government to act swiftly and provide urgent assistance to our suffering citizens. As leaders, we bear a sacred responsibility for our people's well-being. So going forward, we must ensure that no one or institution acting in the name of the state commits such(2/3)
It is with so much pain that I signed the book of condolence for a distinguished politician, statesman, and former colleague, Hon. Enoch Teye Mensah. I have worked closely with ET for about 3 decades in both the Parliament of Ghana and the executive arm of government.(1/3)
Given our many years together, I can attest to Hon. ET's enormous passion for the nation and wealth of experience in governance and statesmanship.(2/3)
On behalf of Parliament, I wish to express sincere gratitude to Gideons International for their kind donation of 275 Bibles to be distributed to Members of Parliament.
These Bibles would be put to good use for the benefit of the House and the country as a whole.
I was yesterday honored by Odeneho Dr. Afram Brempong III, the Paramount Chief of the Suma Traditional Area in the Bono Region, for my commitment to the preservation of Ghanaian social and traditional values. My gratitude to God and the good people of Sumaman for this honor 🙏.

It was an honour to be elected President of CoSAP. One of the measures I will believe will set the pace for a progressive representative governance will be the need for African Parliaments to take decisive action to end the unconstitutional overthrow of democratic governments.
To every mother, we celebrate your boundless love, unwavering support, and endless sacrifices. Your strength inspires us every day. Thank you for being the heart of our families and communities.
This week I have been engaged in series of meetings with the UK Parliament to discuss issues of cooperation between Ghana’s Parliament and the UK Parliament.
Of concern to the British Members of Parliament is the law passed in Uganda recently on the LGBTQI phenomenon, (1/3)
and the bill on Promotion of Human Sexual Rights and Family Values currently before Ghana’s parliament.
I indicated to them in my response that threats are not the way to go. If your neighbour or partner has a problem, you help him to solve it.(2/3)
I extend my heartfelt congratulations for a successful Ramadan to my Muslim brothers and sisters worldwide, the Muslim Community in Ghana and the Muslim Caucus in Parliament. May the Almighty Allah accept all that you prayed for during the month-long fasting.
Eid Mubarak!
My Commitment to Impartiality is Unshakable.
I am thankful to the Chiefs and people of Awudome Traditional Council in the Volta Region, for bestowing on me the stool name, Togbe Nutefeworla I of Awudome; one of the highest honours of the area.(1/4)
It is the institution of Parliament that can really hold the Executive Arm of Government to account to the good people of Ghana. If a Parliament cannot stand the demands of an overbearing Executive, the Executive simply does what it wants.(3/4)
