In 2013, I ran away from work to listen to him speak. In 2025, when the world tunes into the master, a forgotten chapter of my life returns to me.
László Krasznahorkai once ignited my dreams and, perhaps, also lent them the sense of an ending.

An imprisoned individual questions the political system, urges marginalised communities to seek decentralisation.
Should the defenders of the Republic address his concerns, or call him separatist?
And - isn't the call of Hindu Rashtra separatism? Constitution won't allow this.

Disagree with some of his opinions, but there's a lot to agree with, esp once you realise the framework of a marginalised, imprisoned Muslim. One who has seen the Constitution constantly failing them.
He's remarkably consistent in his dissent. It's not about the Hindutva alone.

Utterly incoherent how he goes from Athens, where he denigrated Persia as the eternal Other in a clash with Western "civilization," to this embrace of Samarkand, a city that's wholly bound up in Persian "civilization," if talking about civilizations is so important to you.

Shocking thread.
Oct 10 has given a template.
Protest in Delhi are now self-driven. Irrespective of arrests or detention, people will continue to gather and humiliate Him.

UPDATE: Three Newslaundry reporters detained by Delhi Police.
Our reporters @AshwineSingh, @SavyasachiAstha, and @anmolpritamND have been detained while covering the October 10 protest. Delhi Police have also seized Newslaundry’s official phones, which our reporters were using to carry out their reporting duties.
When the journalists identified themselves as media personnel, they were reportedly told, “Koi media nahin hai.”
Around 30 people have been put into a single bus, including protesters and journalists. Our reporters have identified Inspector Dhan Singh Malik as the officer who snatched the phones.
Journalists are there to report, not to protest. They were not obstructing police operations. On what grounds are they being detained and their phones seized?
@DelhiPolice must explain these actions and allow journalists to do their jobs without intimidation.

Last update by @AshwineSingh along with @SavyasachiAstha. They were detained by @DelhiPolice after this — it’s simply saying how wi-fi is being cut off in hotels that influencers are using to put out updates since there’s a total internet jam in CP.
Along with them @anmolpritamND has also been detained. Do check out all their updates today see if they were obstructing the police in their work. Please amplify all updates by @newslaundry today.
