Small but fun update: @kick users can now create and use Polls in Cloudbot
Always great to keep bringing more of the @Streamlabs experience to creators on Kick.
Shoutout to the team for getting this live!
Really cool to see @Meta latest announcements at #MetaConnect.
We’re getting very close to releasing @streamlabs integration with Meta AI glasses. Soon, you’ll be able to live stream directly from your glasses while bringing along your favorite Streamlabs features.
Excited to share more soon.
Missed our Q2 live streaming report last month? @TheWrap Creatorverse newsletter has the biggest highlights.
Thanks, @KaylCobb, for covering!

Kind of wild that creator economy programs are an actual thing at universities now.
@SyracuseU has a Creator Economy lab, and @ASU has a new influencer major. Feels like a good sign of how much this space has matured.
Streamers: what’s one thing you wish someone taught you before you started?
So excited and proud to share that @Streamlabs is a @Digiday Technology Awards Finalist for Best Content Creation platform.
This is a huge testament to our team’s innovation and dedication to making Streamlabs the most comprehensive and accessible creator ecosystem.
This year’s Digiday Technology Awards finalists reflect an industry adapting to a rapidly changing digital landscape, with AI-ready infrastructure, first-party data, privacy and operational efficiency emerging as defining priorities. Few events show just how creators can be a force for good quite like @ZEventFR, one of our biggest inspirations behind @Streamlabs Charity. We’re so proud to have been a part of ZEvent’s incredible story, and even prouder to have them be part of ours. Congratulations to everyone!
Thank you, @Net_Influencer_, for the feature on our Q2 Live Streaming Report with @hatchet_gg!

The GTA VI preview broke Twitch today, but the actual game should give it a huge boost come November.
Our new Q2 Live Streaming Report shows the platform is stabilizing – and video game streaming in general could use a healthy jolt to keep up with Just Chatting.

The data here shows what we’ve been seeing for a while now: fit beats following every time. Small creators can bring big value to brands if they’re the perfect match.
As the creator economy booms, audiences and brand partners want different things out of the content that creators produce, per new CreatorIQ research.

This is happening in live streaming too. Gaming, Just Chatting, IRL, etc. matter less than whether people want to spend time with the person behind the stream. It seems like the creator is becoming the format.
We got a shout on MikeShouts! Won’t lie, the intro to this one gave me a good laugh. Thanks for the feature!

Tired of AI slop? So are we. @streamlabs has planned a great #SXSW panel with @AIatMeta and @NVIDIAAI about how to ACTUALLY use AI for streaming – but it only happens if you vote for us. Link to vote below!

Without a game there to create the action for you, you have to create more of that structure yourself. That’s where IRL gets really interesting. The environment itself becomes part of the content.
Give the stream a premise, destination, challenge, or goal, then give chat a role in it. Run polls, let viewers decide where you go next, unlock challenges, or build segments around their input.
The strongest creators already move naturally between gameplay, conversation, reactions, guests, and audience participation. IRL doesn’t mean becoming a different kind of creator. It just gives you more ways to turn your same strengths into content.
Historically, IRL has also been hard to do well. Reliable connectivity, complicated setups, and expensive gear created a pretty high barrier to entry. That’s starting to change.
Tools like Network Boost are making it possible to build a more reliable IRL setup with devices you may already own.
#JustChatting has been the meta for a while. IRL streaming is next. But great IRL content takes a lot more planning than just going live and hoping something interesting happens. Let’s talk about it.
