The WFP is cutting aid to 500,000 Palestinians in Gaza because it’s running out of money. It needs $450 million for the next 6 months. The shame I feel as a Muslim is getting harder to put into words. Forget the Gulf states and the EU for a second. This is pocket change for them. If just a 1/4 of the world’s Muslims chipped in $1 a month, we could raise $500 million EVERY MONTH. Why the hell are we still depending on Western donors ffs!!!! It’s the 4th winter. Palestinians are still freezing & starving in tents, while Israel continues to restrict the entry of caravans and essential supplies. We need to ask ourselves some serious questions as Muslims.
