Alternative sources of sustainable energy continue to power India’s green energy transition. As we now blend nearly 16.9% ethanol and are on way to meet E20 target and beyond, the quest for newer sources of ethanol continues. Seaweed is one such innovative source. Farming about 7.5% of India’s exclusive economic zone could produce enough feedstock to replace 300 million tons of crude oil equivalent.
Happy to note that by bringing in mechanization into Tropical seaweed farming, Sea6Energy is able to farm large areas of the Ocean by improving the productivity per person and enabling farming in deeper waters. Efforts such as these when scaled up will provide momentum to our energy journey under the leadership of PM @narendramodi Ji.

If AI saves people from having to write, it will also save them from having the ideas that writing engenders.

A company asked why it was so hard to hire a good writer. I told them it was because good writing is an illusion: what people call good writing is actually good thinking, and of course good thinkers are rare.

Bilal’s passion is commendable. I applaud his single-handedly developing this prototype. Clearly the design needs to evolve into a production-friendly version. Perhaps our team at Mahindra Research Valley can work alongside him to develop it further. @Velu_Mahindra ?

I would guess this is true in the social sciences as well:
Kids affect the timing of productivity in science: While other scientists peak in their mid-30s, mothers become more productive after 35 and after 15 years of marriage, when their kids are older than 10, from @scottdaewonkim and @PMoserEcon nber.org/papers/w29436

Replying to @Pampers
@Pampers - resellers in India are ruining your brand by unsealing the original, hygienic packaging and reselling on e-comm sites - @Flipkart in this manner. Lose diapers and repackaged diapers are unsanitary and unhygienic! This is simply unacceptable! @flipkartsupport

Baffled at the Biden admin's lack of meaningful response to immensity of suffering in India - even a simple statement of compassion & solidarity. & don't get why we can't at least put some ventilators/oxygen on a plane while we figure out DPA etc....

ATTENTION SALARYPEOPLE
Next Friday when your guaranteed monthly paycheck is deposited, take a moment of gratitude for the entrepreneurs who took the risks so you get this risk-free income.
Shaming an risk-taker for losing money is like shaming a soldier for losing a limb.

Some friends had not heard this Chinese parable. Sharing because it's always relevant:
A farmer owned a horse. One day, the horse ran away.
The neighbors exclaimed, “Your horse ran away! What terrible luck!”
The farmer replied, “Maybe. We will see.”

What a great way to get cars to pay attention to pedestrians! In the small fishing town of Ísafjörður, Iceland, a new pedestrian crossing has been painted to appear 3D by way of a cleverly-detailed optical illusion. bit.ly/2Iv2Hse

Thinking out loud: as income share agreements (ISAs) gain popularity as a college financing option, they'll also become a litmus test for the ROI of a college degree. If no one will offer you an ISA for your degree, then you're probably not getting your money's worth.

The chances that your startup will become a billion-dollar company are almost zero. But if you do somehow manage to create a unicorn, the odds are better than 1-in-10 that you or your co-founder attended one school: Stanford bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
