These monsters are what made me fall in love with film. The work these people put into creating these props and effects was just pure drug induced nightmare fuel magic. We may never have it again…but to witness it was everything. 🖤
The ambulance scene in Cocaine Bear is underrated. Every single second from the moment the paramedics arrived was used intentionally and contained one of the most fluid and climactic sequences in modern horror history.
I watch this at least once a year. It never ceases to be hilarious and make me feel good. #NowWatching

What are we excited about this year? I’m mostly looking forward to a new addition to the Evil Dead franchise this summer. I haven’t made it to the theater yet in 2026 and that’s going to be the thing to drag me out of my house.
Need to win the lottery so I can get front row tickets to see Sting at the Enmarket Arena in May so he can see me & fall madly in love with me & pull me up on stage like Springsteen did with Courteney Cox & then I’ll make him wear his Dune costume & we’ll live happily ever after.
Imagine you’re staying in a motel in a small beach town and you come across a creature lurking beneath the water and you bring him to the motel and hide him because you guys are besties now. You enjoy the pool. But he craves blood. And all the hotel guests start disappearing.
Like Weekend at Bernie’s but if Bernie was actually The Creature from The Black Lagoon. And he’s not dead. He’s eating everyone. 😌
We are getting more Mummy love coming soon and we’ve had some Dracula love this past year as well. I’d love to see some more Creature from the Black Lagoon love! I adore him. He just wants to swim all day and live in harmony with nature!
