Some perspective…
18 new signings… team that’s never played together before…. Horrendous injury luck…. Brutal financial restrictions…. Some tough games…. 30k plus at every home game… record season tickets… record shirt sales…. Back to back clean sheets… 2nd in the league after 7 games and only 1 point back.
Last season our club nearly fell away into oblivion…. This Summer everyone was talking about managing expectations and how happy we should be with even something like 8th place.
And here we sit! We could only have dreamed of this a year ago. A bright future in our hands… for the first time in a long time.
Back the lads. Back the gaffer…. They’re all working incredibly hard. Stay positive! Keep perspective! Be patient!
Let’s leave the boos out and all of us do our part to make Hillsborough the fortress it should be when we’re 30k plus every week. Let’s make it the loudest ground in the country. Let’s have teams dreading the trip to S6!!
Enjoy the break all. #wawaw

Wednesdayites… one more push at Hillsborough on Saturday before we head into the international break!
It’s been such a positive start to the season and I’m so proud of the work everyone across the club continues to put in. Lots accomplished in a very short period of time but we know there is a long way to go and so much more work ahead.
Saturday gives us an opportunity to finish this opening stretch on a high… another huge crowd, everyone together and giving the lads everything you have!
Unfortunately I won’t be able to join you this weekend and for the next couple of months. I’m heading in for some back surgery and will need a little time to recover before I can make the trip back to Sheffield.
I’ll be there in spirit, and @michaelestorch will be there on Saturday representing the Storch family. I know he can’t wait to get back to Hillsborough and spend time with our @swfc family.
Let’s get behind the team and finish this first part of the season the right way. Keep pushing… keep believing… and most importantly enjoy the journey!
God bless our beautiful @swfc family!

What Simon Wilson, David Bruce, Henrik, Kev and @storchyowl have pulled off this window…. with the restrictions we have in place and the amount of work there was to do…. Is nothing short of remarkable.
Couldn’t be prouder. Now let’s see…!

Huge credit must go to Simon Wilson, Kevin Beadle, Henrik Pederson and the new owners for their involvement in this summer transfer window. 👏
