A few comments on recent roster release.
We switched to 2+4+$1M
When we moved Ponce to La Liga, it gave us flexibility to change our roster model. We are among MLS leaders in GAM spent in 2026, so this switch gives us cap space to keep more of our team together in 2027.
Youth Pathway is Working
When we signed Jack, our plan was to continue his development and then move him to Europe (most likely this summer). The timing is unfortunate but this provides more opportunity for the next young player, Matthew Arana, to break into the first team.
Great to host Andres Lillini (Director of YNT) and Clodo Cervantes (Scout) from @FMF yesterday at the training ground.
We look forward to continue working closely together to develop talents in Houston.
Love this! 🧡🧡🧡
What a way to set HD2 all-time point record!!
Great work by Jeremy Hurdle, Nick Kowba and Co, especially since team has already moved 3 players onto higher levels this season.

COMEBACK COMPLETE 🤘
A look back at this 101st minute goal off the foot of Austin Brummett from a beautiful feed from Samir Mohammad who also tied it in 90'+1!
The result also set a new mark in single season team record for points
Good work by Nick Kowba, Mark Watson and Seb Romero to add another
high upside player to our club pathway.
Anticipate he’ll earn minutes quickly as HD2 lost 3 CBs this summer to UVA, Oregon St and South Florida (all Freshmen starters btw).
Excited to add Duncan to our frontline. Great profile fit for the evolution of our playing style this season.
Joins club on a TAM deal. Payment schedule of acquisition fee reduces cap impact, so we can keep adding to the squad over next 12 months.

A real testament to the hard work being done across the @HoustonDynamo development pathway. Good luck to our 3 boys in Croatia! #U15BNT🇺🇸
22 players have been called up to the #U15BNT for the 2026 Vlatko Marković International Tournament from May 14-24 in Varaždin, Croatia 👏

As impressive as these stats are, we are even more proud that we are still playing with one of youngest rosters in @MLSNEXTPRO, starting 6 local teens v. STL, and this team already graduated 2 players (Resch & Rivera) onto higher levels.
Great work by Jeremy Hurdle & staff.
With today's 4-1 victory, @houstondynamo2 now lead @MLSNEXTPRO's Western Conference in:
Points (26)
PPG (2.89)
Wins (8)
Home Wins (4)
Road Wins (4)
Goals For (24)
Goals Against (4)
Goal Diff (+20)
Assists (18)
Key Passes (11)
Clean Sheets (5)
Valuable opportunity for Gil to earn USL minutes and help @PHXRisingFC compete for silverware.
This move will help prepare him to play a bigger role with our 1st team in the future.
Great work by Jeremy Hurdle and Dan Roberts to advance another player thru @houstondynamo2 .
Great start to the season for Pedro and @houstondynamo2!
Also, good work by Jeremy Hurdle and staff integrating our Academy, NCAA and foreign talents, so quickly.
Very happy for Dima and his family.
Another local player making the most of his opportunities in our pathway.
Look forward to his continued development at the club!
Great addition!
Miguel will lead the expansion of our analytics department and continue to leverage our relationship with @src_ftbl.
Happy to welcome him and his family to Houston.
Excited to work with Bryan to build on momentum of Academy.
Experienced leader with a strong understanding of the US landscape and complexity of running an MLS Academy.
He joins during a busy week for Academy with U15s and U16s at GA Cup and U18s at Super Group in Dallas Cup.
