2 years ago, love in the big city left a mark that will never fade. one of the few bl dramas to bring HIV into the conversation, it gave us a story that mattered and a realistic love story of goyoung and gyuho some stories stay with you forever because they change you.

breaking my silence: bl drama stans genuinely do not care about “real cinema.” they’ll praise anything as long as their fave is in it, and i fear that’s exactly why the quality of bl dramas keeps getting worse and worse.

Me: Fixed BL ships are actually weird as hell 😭 it’s an easy-money business model that profits from people’s emotional attachment to a “couple,” while limiting the actors and turning them into products. they’re actors. Let them ACT, work with different people, play different characters, and build careers outside of one manufactured pairing.
