A strong start to the year at @Snowflake. We delivered our first-ever $1 billion revenue quarter. Q1 Product Revenue grew an impressive 26% YoY. Given our strong results, we’re raising our growth outlook for the year. Our mission at Snowflake is to empower every enterprise to achieve its potential with data and AI. We continue to expand support for our customers throughout the data lifecycle, from inception to insights. And I’m proud to see our progress: ➡️This quarter, we continued our breakneck pace of innovation, introducing over 120+ capabilities to market, 100% more than we introduced in Q1 of last year. ➡️In just one year, Cortex AI has gone from a nascent product area to a foundational pillar of enterprise AI strategies. Today, over 5,200+ accounts are using our AI and machine learning capabilities on a weekly basis. ➡️By migrating work to our AI Data Cloud, our customers are slashing costs by 30% or more, while dramatically accelerating workflows. ➡️Our go-to-market engine continues to get stronger and stronger. Under the leadership of our new Chief Revenue Officer, Mike Gannon, we have renewed focus and rigor across our go-to-market teams. And we’re not stopping here. In just a few weeks, we’re hosting #SnowflakeSummit, bringing together tens of thousands of customers, partners, developers, and more to showcase the latest cutting edge innovations we’re bringing to market. Thank you to each and every Snowflake for your hard work! See you at Summit! ❄️❄️❄️ snowflake.com/en/news/press-…

Something you can't find in developed countries, no matter what country it is!
As a doctor & as someone who hs lived abroad fr many years, if I or a loved one were seriously ill, I would always choose government healthcare over private in Sri Lanka. It's easy to keep complaining about Lankan healthcare when we have a narrow perspective, like frogs in a well.

My Sri Lanka Trip in brief. Cost was ₹1.5 lakh for 11 days. Some of it in luxurious hotels, half the price of Indian ones. Some of it in Airbnbs. Took trains & buses, where possible More than the money, look at the beauty of the island in the thread livemint.com/money/personal-…

මෙව්වනේ දැවෙන ප්‍රශ්න. First lady කෙනෙක් නැති උනොත් ඉවරයි ඔක්කොම.😂
The First Lady holds an important role as a public figure and a President’s wife. She is tasked with organising and attending official ceremonies and functions of state either along with, or in place of, the President. It’s very interesting to note that of the 3 main contenders in tomorrow’s presidential election, only 2 spouses are known/visible to the public. Even more interesting is that no party took advantage of this simple yet vital fact.

We're releasing a preview of OpenAI o1—a new series of AI models designed to spend more time thinking before they respond. These models can reason through complex tasks and solve harder problems than previous models in science, coding, and math. openai.com/index/introducing…
