We lost another great unionist today. Remember that as President of the Screen Actors Guild he moved the organization toward becoming a true union. And what a sweet guy in his real, offstage life. Thank you for all you’ve done for you members - and all working folks, Ed.
The backers of the Recall thrive in the shadows, so we’ve got to share who’s behind this sneak attack on our progress!
Vote NO on the anti-union recall!

When it comes to voter protection, we often focus on the suppressive efforts of Republican Secretaries of State and don’t stop to recognize the progress of our Democratic friends like @AlexPadilla4CA who have made positive reforms in states across the country. #capol

A partisan impeachment? The witnesses have been career officials, except for Republicans Sondland and Morrison. All have served in the Trump Administration. Other Republicans--Mulvaney, Bolton, Giuliani--refuse to testify. Questioning has been evenly divided between D's and R's.

Based on private conversations, I believe there will be some Republican votes to impeach. But whatever the partisan split, members of Congress take an oath to the Constitution, not to bipartisanship nor to abdicating judgment if the other party refuses to care about the evidence.
