Long-time truck drivers who know the rules of the road shouldn't have their licenses taken away simply because English isn't their first language.
That's why we've partnered with the @Teamsters856, educators, and community leaders in the Salinas Valley to launch a mobile pilot English program for Class A truck drivers.

How much did you get for a raise this year? 1%? 3%? How about 25%?
FACT: California billionaires increased their net worth by 25% over the last two years. That's about $432 billion dollars. Yet they are spending MILLIONS to try and get out of having to pay a fraction of that amount to keep California's hospitals open and more than 150,000 health care workers on the job saving lives.

Starbucks is reportedly increasing workers’ health insurance premiums by as much as 100%, according to the Guardian.
When workers asked why, Starbucks ignored them. Starbucks Workers United has filed a ULP in response.
