Here I am, speaking as an artist. I’m tired of seeing artists at the bottom of the crypto pyramid, especially when it comes to 1/1 artworks.
The entire ecosystem we’ve built revolves around trading volume, speculation, and market activity rather than culture. You flip an artwork as a “collector,” and you’re rewarded with platform airdrops, points, or incentives. Meanwhile, I can barely name a single meaningful reward system designed for creators that isn’t already a relic of the past.
We’ve built an ecosystem fueled by greed and the anxiety of missing out, where the circulation of art is rewarded more than its creation.
And yes, this includes platforms like the ones you mentioned. We’ve financialized art without cultivating the culture around it.
That’s one of the fundamental problems with this space: artists are left struggling while others continue to generate income from the work they create.
I don’t enjoy watching it either.
Free thinkers. Just curate your algorithm, your friends, your collectors. Build your environment around you, not around others.
this is a pattern of manipulation and fake narratives, using artists just to trigger reactions about how important our art is and how others should treat the space. I’ve seen these behaviors many times in the past. It’s nothing new.
been watching the crypto market lately and honestly… something feels off.
too much noise, too many opinions, not enough people actually looking at what’s happening.
since that day i can’t stop dreaming about having my own tesla. watching videos every day, imagining how it would feel to drive one, drawing my own concepts…, hope one day this dream becomes reality.
I think I’ve fallen in love . it feels like the perfect car for the city. Even in traffic, I don’t feel the pressure at all. The Model 3 is my favorite. This one’s a rental, and in just a month I’ve driven over 500 km around the city.
