🟣🟣 Bettws FC 4-0 Cwm Wanderers 🔵⚪️
A dominant performance saw us progress in the FAW Amateur Trophy with an impressive 4-0 victory at Parc Afon Twrch.
Damian Barnard opened the scoring with a superb piece of skill before calmly finishing to give us an early lead. Despite creating plenty of chances, it wasn’t until the 26th minute that we doubled our advantage, with Connor Wright finishing well after being picked out by Barnard.
Our excellent first-half display was capped off shortly afterwards when Tom Hodgson found the net, with Jake Greenslade providing the assist, sending us into the break with a deserved 3-0 lead.
The second half was controlled well, and Arran Jefferies completed the scoring in the 48th minute, finishing confidently after great work from Tom Ridge.
🏆 Man of the match was Tom Hodgson , excellent all game, covering every inch of the pitch
It’s been encouraging to see our new players settling in so quickly, and with the league campaign starting next weekend, we’re looking forward to the challenges ahead.
A big thank you to Cwm Wanderers for their hospitality today. We wish them all the very best for the season ahead.

All-time favorite type of videos: pre-fame bands playing their extremely famous songs to a tiny room of people, because they're not yet known.
A thread of some examples 🪡
1. MGMT playing 'Kids' to a crowd of maybe 25 people on a college quad
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
