Theme “ride with Da White Rhinos” Cruise Da Albert Nile
An immersive non competitive cycling tour, aims to open Westnile, experience the historic Theodore Roosevelt Trail& showcase Da White Rhinos in its original natural home
Gearing up for @TheGuluMarathon .
We have crafted a Cycling Tour itinerary Dubbed 'Echoes of The Rift' which will see a team of 30cyclists+ endure a 550km+ journey from kampala -Hoima via the Albertine Rift region, cross Lake Albert and ride by the Gipir & Labong site to Ajai game reserve and cycle to the Rhino camp and the Cruise on the River Nile to @Arrafishinglodge and after head to Gulu in time for the Gulu City

You should not miss the unveiling happening on Thursday 5th Nov at LUGOGO National Council of Sports. Arrival time is 3pm..

I officiated at the International Day of the Older Persons at State House Entebbe, where I urged the elderly to modernise and learn to preserve their wealth. Many older people start fragmenting their wealth to distribute it to their children instead of using modern inheritance methods such as shareholding.
Our aim as government is to ensure that wealthy older people maintain their wealth, while those who have none are supported to obtain it through available government programmes. Therefore, we shall tailor a PDM programme for the elderly after concluding our financial engagements in the AFCON, which has taken a lot of money.
Another issue facing older people is that they are most affected by medical conditions and expenses. It is, therefore, my view that the government should sponsor and recruit a geriatrician in each district to offer free and consistent medical support to the elderly.

What a sad day!
In the afternoon, we joined the community of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Banda-Nakawa West for the requiem mass of Rev Fr John Bosco Nambasi who died in an accident yesterday.
Afterwards, we went to St. Mbaaga Catholic Church in Kiwatule-Nakawa West to bid farewell to Rev. Fr. Charles Lwanga Ssewava who passed on after a long illness.
Later in the evening, we attended a vigil of the late Judith Mugalu in Kondogolo zone, Kyanja Parish - Nakawa West who succumbed to an accident yesterday. At just 30 years, she has left behind a husband and two young children.
So much tragedy! May God comfort the bereaved families, and may the souls of the departed rest in peace.
