“We are blessed to have a league and a sport with so many diverse voices. We must ensure they are always heard and do everything we can in our power to heed their message.”

People change for the greater good and so too can organisations. Hopefully this is an opportunity to do so!
The @nbl relies on Black American players coming in each season for league credibility, marketing, highlights, attendance. African Australian & Indigenous Australian players are also represented & should play a larger part in the league’s future. We need more than a black square.

The pursuit for equality is a global issue, a fight for our human race, our country, our community, our colleagues, our friends. I will do all I can within my own sphere of influence to make sure love, acceptance and understanding are paramount and that ignorance has no place.
