the week 1 dance is actually still one of my favs bc the bit after the solo floor stuff where pasha comes back into the frame and they dance together hits so good

i do think the choreo for this week's dance could've dealt more w the story, like from what i've seen pasha always choreographs to display his partner and likes to fade into the background but if they're black swan/white swan i wanted to see more drama between them

Me when i'm like. i wish the pro dancer had more stage presence. even though he's very likely drawing back on purpose to let amber shine as much as humanly possible

maybe the style of the dance didn't allow for as much of like the storytelling we saw from last weeks and the rules are more restrictive (<- larper that doesn't know anything about ballroom) BUT amber was lovely as always and her expressions were on point
