My biggest achievement in solo filmmaking so far is out (with the help of two friends who carried the gears during filming, and a hand from another friend for the Foley).
Def not an easy one, from the original idea to this video. But today, boy I'm really proud of the outcome 🙌🏾
I just wanted to show a piece of my journey, never thought this would go beyond that ❤️🩹
A lot has been going on for me lately. Mental exhaustion, anxiety, feeling lost and so on. So.... The opportunity came up to disconnect for a few days, to take my camera with me and to go in search of silence… Here’s what happened:

Me: Mehhh, too long for Instagram, I'll just post it and if I've 20 likes that'll cool enough... Just some memories anyway :)

My head is still up there today 🥲 (also my fingers still hurt because of the cold - knowing I had gloves and didn't use them 😑)
The day I thought I was gonna die
😭😂 Crazy how just a tent makes you feel safe sometimes. Spent the last 4 days and nights in the mountains, with no network, up to 2580m. The sound of Silence ❤️ Back to reality now.

Screenshot from my latest project. It took me about 2 months from the synopsis, through filming, editing, color grading and some of the Foley work. My biggest solo project to date! Client supa happy!
Note for next time: never plan to shoot complex stuff in France during August😄

Finally, the second batch of the Uneed Residency is complete ✅
13 people (+ the 2 sponsors, me, my gf and the cook 😂) will spend a week in a manor in Nantes, from October 26 to November 2, working and learning together!
I'm so excited, I really think this batch is going to be amazing!!
We've got a lot of different profiles with different strengths, different levels of experience, different types of humor (very important)...
But we all have one thing in common.
We're entrepreneurs, and our goal is to live off our own projects.
It can get pretty lonely though, and that's why these residencies are such a joy to organize. It's super hard to explain the energy and the good vibes it creates 🥰
Huge thanks to @creem_io and Postiz for making this possible 🙏
In the coming weeks, I'll share more about the organization, the planning, the goodies (very important), etc.
Want to be part of batch #3? Drop a comment and I'll make sure you hear about it first 👀

La France n'est pas une passoire numérique... La France est en avance. Elle a désormais le plus gros backup de données sur le darkweb.
Il fallait juste y penser.
Me: "Let's make sure there are no VFX in the ad."
Client: "Cool! Here, take this completely black debit card [where you can't read the name]."
Me [editing]: Motion designing + VFX'ing 😩

LINGOR a été piraté.

BORDEL ! ÇA S'ARRÊTE QUAND !
Unintentionally recreated Nikki's eyes lighting while minding my own business framing and lighting this shot 😅
Yesterday on set, near Duroc station, Paris, a retired woman with a great sense of humor (😂) walked past my camera, multiple times actually, lol. After a little chat about her life as a photographer, she pulled a good old 20 Franc note out of her very old bucket hat (that thing travelled more than me you could tell, lol). She was telling us that she keeps it in her hat wherever she goes “just in case”, lol.
Long story short, she came back again but with 50€ and left them on my camera without giving me a choice. She then said: “I want to contribute to your project. Take it, it's not mine anymore anyway” and she left 😂
The thing she doesn’t know, yet, is that she made a homeless guy happy that night. So thank you Bénédicte 😇🫶🏿
(sneak-shot her while I was trying to frame my shot)
