Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is a rare thing
There’s not many 17 year olds getting minutes in men’s football and there’s definitely not many 17 year olds consistently being the best player on the pitch in men’s football
The best teenager we’ve seen in a Pompey shirt in the modern era?⚡️

This is getting serious. Manchester City could have new owners next season. #MCFC

Why Man City getting away without a severe punishment would END the Premier League:
• If the findings stand and political pressure gets them a slap on the wrist, you’ve basically told every owner that you can cheat as long as you’re powerful enough to get away with it.
• Why would City fear doing it again? Why would other owners bother following the rules if the advantage you gain is bigger than the punishment?
• The damage didn’t magically stop in 2018. The squad, money and success built through those years carried on benefiting City. You can’t keep the rewards and expect everyone else to just move on.
• Fans spend thousands following their clubs. Why should they keep paying into a competition if they believe some owners can bully their way out of the consequences? People will lose interest if they don’t trust what they’re watching.
• United, Liverpool and Arsenal fans aren’t going to accept being treated like mugs forever. The Premier League cannot take that support for granted.
These teams may form their own breakaway league.
• Every future punishment would be a joke. How can you hammer another club for breaking the rules after letting City off lightly for something on this scale?
• It would show that who owns your club matters more than the rules everyone agreed to follow. How the fuck can you call that a fair competition?
If these findings survive appeal, the owners should be banned from football and City should face multiple relegations in my opinion. A fine they can comfortably afford or a points deduction they recover from next season is nowhere near enough.
City fans wanting them to get away with it need to look beyond their own club. You’d be left celebrating getting away with cheating in a league nobody trusts anymore.
Many people will lose interest in the Premier League because they will know it is not a fair competition.
