Shnorhavor!
Today, October 12, Romania celebrates the Day of the Armenian Language, Alphabet, and Culture. The alphabet created by Mesrop Mashtots represents a universal symbol of cultural continuity, as well as a living heritage in our country, enriched by prominent personalities of Armenian origin.
From the scientific genius of Spiru Haret and Ana Aslan to the fundamental contributions to culture and art by Gheorghe Asachi, Garabet Ibrăileanu, or Mihail Jora, the Armenian community has left a remarkable mark on Romanian society.
This day honors a solid historical bridge and reconfirms our commitment to continuously develop bilateral ties and close cooperation between 🇷🇴and 🇦🇲.
