Bye.

After more thought than the subject deserved, I’ve determined that the correct past tense verb is “snowblowered,” as in, “I snowblowered my driveway three f’ing times this week.”
In an effort this year to focus on, y'know, my life, I took a series of colossal breaks from social media and art. (2022 is looking promising for a return to at least one of those.)
Happy New Year. And if you haven't yet, get vaccinated you fucking idiot, and tell your elected officials to give vaccines to countries that need them the most.

Hi friends! I (@arlodesign) am really excited to see the world open up. Perhaps it’s time to start talking about design systems again in Chicago.
But for chidesignsystem to enter it’s next chapter, it’s going to need a new shepherd.

To everyone who has attended one of our events, thank you.
To the organizations that hosted and presented, thank you.
I owe my career and many dear friendships to @chidesignsystem meetups.
I can’t wait to attend your next event.

If you’re interested in taking the reins of @chidesignsystem, please DM or email [email protected]. And please be patient if I don’t respond immediately.

I have a domain name, social media, and a @Meetup account for @chidesignsystem that deserves a new owner and sponsor. (Maybe you can get around to actually designing a logo like I never did. 😊)

BREAKING: Due to recent progress in the fight against COVID-19, Chicago is now operating under Illinois' Tier 1 mitigations—which includes limited indoor dining and more. To keep easing restrictions, we have to keep following our public health guidance. chi.gov/3p9kCGv
