Wow. Just discovered this hauntingly beautiful animation project, and I think many of you will feel it too. The premise stopped me in my tracks: “Arkana is a myth about the shadow side of good intentions — how the desperate urge to mend what’s broken can pull the wound even tighter. A dying star, scarred by a fallen civilization that tried to bend the laws of nature and failed. From the ashes rise two forces: one seeking salvation through total technological control, the other through unleashed primordial fire. Between them stands a lone exile, trying to read the fractured pattern before either side enacts its catastrophic ‘cure.’” I’ve already pledged a small amount to support it. If you’re able, consider doing the same. Independent artists are telling the mythic stories we need to hear — the ones Hollywood abandoned long ago.
