A company with 0 Trustpilot reviews and 6k website traffic in August has half of prop firm twitter promoting them right now It should be required to disclose "I'm getting paid to say this" so the rest of us can just scroll past

For comparison, @TradingLucid had over 9 million website traffic in August

CFD prop firms have no idea how to enter and dominate the Futures space The only one that came remotely close was Alpha Futures, and we know how that ended

Not sure who needs to hear this, but if you can't trade prop firms and you think the solution is to put 50k of your own money into a broker You're going to be in for a rude awakening

Some might genuinely be held back by prop firms, but for the majority of traders, I don't think that's the case. You'll have more freedom, sure. More freedom to lose way more.

Can I just say that going on a podcast that has been actively promoting a prop firm whilst they rug-pulled won't do your reputation any favors?

Lucid is cracking down on coordinated hedging, payment fraud, and fake identities. The mouthpieces of these trading rings, the ones spamming 'scam alert,' are the same ones being shut down. This means that new users that Lucid deems as "high-risk profile" need to do a KYC before they can purchase any accounts. So you'll likely start seeing more KYC rejections as Lucid is trying to avoid doing business with high-risk profiles. You'll have no problems if you're not considered a high-risk profile.

For what it's worth, my final thoughts regarding the situation: - Some have received refunds, some haven't. - Nobody has received Premium payouts, and there's no clear ETA. - Payout delays are now happening on other accounts too, despite the 'back to same day' promise from July 15th. I think they realized they were already doomed, so might as well make some promises and try to make the best of it. Cheap PR trick. I don't see how the company recovers from this unless someone bails them out.
Please see below an update on where things stand. Refunds Full refunds have been processed for all active Premium Plan clients, over $2 million refunded, including activation fees. Please allow 3 to 7 business days for the funds to appear, depending on your card provider. Performance fees Last week we reinstated any approved performance fees from the Premium Plan and these now show as "Premium Pending" in your dashboard. These are being processed in batches, and we've already started working through them. We will contact each one of you directly that are still outstanding in the coming week. Migration All accounts on retained plans have been fully migrated. Everything we committed to, we've delivered. We know this past week has been disruptive. We had a single day's notice to plan all of this, and while it hasn't been easy, we've done what we said we would. From here, our full focus is on moving forward and delivering for you. If you have any questions our support team is here to help. We thank you for the continued support, and it's great to see so many traders continuing to enjoy the updates on Alpha Trader! Many updates to come over the coming weeks.

Some people had to reach out to support to get their refund, even though George the CEO said and I quote: "along with refunding active accounts (no need to create a ticket and request a refund, this will be automatic)" Support told someone that they weren't even on the list.

6 days later: - No payouts have actually been sent - No one has received an email about the timeline - No one has received their refunds - No communication on what to expect Was it just 1 big gimmick, or am I too impatient?
I'm sure the last few days have been hard for some of you that were on the Premium Plan. We also understand how difficult it is to trade let alone be successful at it. We did not want to overpromise and underdeliver with the uncertainty we faced this week as a company. Now that it is officially behind us, and after further talks with our current partners, we want to publicly announce that all of you in “approved for pay” on Premium Plans will be paid. You are currently seeing them as “Premium Pending” in dash. This was always the plan, but with the unfortunate turn of events with our ex partner last week and the issues on the Premium Plan, the fairest way to address Premium Plan users in that moment was to issue refunds. Zero & Advanced Account payouts will be back to the same day as of tomorrow and those Premium Account payouts WILL be made in batches. The first batch which equates to 10% of outstanding Premium Account payouts have been made today. We will be contacting the rest of you directly via email to make sure timelines are communicated effectively. Active Premium Account users are still receiving refunds as well, that has not changed. All of you that have continued to choose Alpha and trading here, we cannot thank you enough for your support in these unusual times and very glad to get back to our typical service with you. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for sticking by Alpha.

On a more positive note, here are 2 firms that are doing really well: On Trustpilot, for every 1 negative payout review, @TradingLucid has 9.7 positive ones. @Tradeify has 9 to 1. For context, the 3rd place has a 3-to-1 ratio. Both of them also have the fewest denials.

And before the rug pull, this is how they gamed their way to 4.6 stars on Trustpilot: Just ask support a simple question, and they'll ask you to leave a 5-star review with their name in it. Template: “Thank you (name) for the great support!” Hard to trust Trustpilot alone.
This prop firm is banning traders for leaving negative reviews, and here’s the proof. Alpha Futures’ client relations manager "Matty" disables your account, then tells you to remove the review before he'll restore it. On top of the already sketchy things they're doing.

I'm not saying that gaming your way to a high Trustpilot score like that is right or wrong, more firms do this. But as a customer, it shows that you should look a little bit deeper into the reviews.

The email exchange and the "Matty" we're referring to. This is the doing of the higher-ups. Matty is most likely just a pawn doing what he's told. The higher-ups should be held accountable. In most countries, this is illegal and if it isn't, it's still wrong.
