this is a conversation someone should never have with their family. We go to school to learn, not to get shot. For some this was their last conversation with their loved ones #PrayforDouglas #GUNviolence

De Niro: I hate to say it, but loving our country is starting to sound like an abused spouse saying they love their abuser. I can’t love a country that starts stupid and inhumane wars, killing thousands of innocents and indirectly causing the deaths and suffering of millions more. I can’t love a country that takes healthcare away from millions of people and uses that money to enrich their pals in the Trump-Epstein class. I can’t love a country that sends out masked militias to shoot citizens in the streets, torture our neighbors, and separate families. I can’t love a country that’s led by a racist, misogynist, xenophobic tyrant. And let me just say it: I can’t love a country that’s led by Donald Trump and his sycophant Congress.

In Georgia, it is illegal to hand out water to people waiting in line to vote.
Right now: Pro-gun activists hand out free 30-round AR-15 magazines outside the Virginia State Capitol ahead of the likely signature of a bill that would ban the sale of these magazines in the state.

This photo has EVERYTHING: Drunks, psychos, ex-WWE boss, puppy killer, Jeffery Epstein's pals, a representive from the Kremlin, people who snort cocaine off of toilet seats, sexual predators, sober rapists, drunk rapists, a whoville tax accountant and pedophile protectors.

Privatizing public education will create an increasingly segregated school system in America – not just based on race, but by class. We must not have a two-tier educational system: Private schools for the wealthy, and public schools for low-income and working-class students.

It's so important that our Tribal communities have access to the medical care they need. I talked to the American Indian Medical Education Strategies Alliance about how we can address physician shortages in Tribal areas & expand the Native health workforce.

Never in my life have I seen something as depressing as this. Literal children begging the world to see them as human.
Palestinian children in Gaza hold a news conference outside Al Shifa hospital, where they sought refuge. “We want to live. We want peace. We want food, medicine and education. Not bombs… we want to live as the other children live.” via @Shepherds4Good

Washington DC now: largest pro #Palestine and anti-war protest. One takeaway from my time in #Washington as Palestine’s ambassador is the huge gap between US politicians and the American people ✊🏽
