Turbonerd who can't get enough of unnecessarily detailed technical explanations of the things around me. Games, Game Design, Linux, and nerd stuff is rad.

Ordered a sandwich from Publix ahead of time today and got no sandwich and no acknowledgement from staff. It's about the 4th time it's happened. @PublixHelps You guys gotta get this straight. Either fix your online system or fix your processes.

Horizon Forbidden West is so stunning. #PS5Share, #HorizonForbiddenWest
Gaming in January: I managed to finish 7 games this month. Started off with COD WWII campaign and The Artful Escape. COD is a known quantity and the campaigns are a guilty pleasure.

The next game is Spider Man Miles Morales. I know so very little about comics, but this game actually made me kinda wanna find out more. Miles is a great character and the feeling of swinging around Manhattan and fighting bad dudes was so fun. Another good PS5 game.

The final game I played was The Last of Us Remastered. This game blew me away. The story, characters, acting, ambiance, combat. It's all spectacular. This game is old, but this was my first time playing it and I am still thinking about all of the details. Definitely don't miss it
For 2022 I have decided to play games from my backlog. I created a spreadsheet (turbonerd) with games and info along with a schedule for the year. I'm looking forward to playing things that I've wanted to but never brought myself to play.

Each month, I'll play at least 3 games. The first of which is a short game. The second is a much longer, usually AAA, game. The third is a tertiary game that isn't as high priority as the others.

January's games are: The Artful Escape, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II.
Everyone should tweet @LinuxUserSpace and insist that Dan read out the lyrics to his amazing rap about Birch trees. It's a banger.

Got my GC Loader PNP today. Really easy install and setup. It's an incredible mod from an amazing dude. If you haven't, check out @citrus3000psi work at Black Dog Tech. Fantastic work, Dan!

I embarked on my first soldering project every tonight. I removed and replaced a battery in an old Dreamcast. I practiced on an old dead GTX 970 then went for the real thing. It was successful and I couldn't be happier. Looking forward to more projects!

Played The Forgotten City by @ModnStoryteller today with a friend. I was enthralled the whole time. Lovely story and characters. I loved the focus on the multi-faceted nature of sin, redemption, and utopia-via-dystopia. Superb job, everyone! Also, it's on @XboxGamePass

Just played @FromSpaceGame demo on #Stadia. What a blast! Game controls were tight, weapons were satisfying, art style is neat, and graphics were immersive. Well done, @trianglestudios! You make some really great games!
