In way bigger news than the Switch 2 launching, we are officially partnering up with @Somnia_Network to take Sparkball and our @liveSparkadia ecosystem to the next level.
We accidentally met @0xPaulThomas months ago at EthDenver and talked with him about Web3 Gaming for 5 minutes before we knew who was who. Hundreds of conversations at conferences, but some stick with you the next week - that was clearly someone who saw this space the same way we did.
We’re already kicking into HIGH VOLTAGE with Somnia, with multiple game nights and reward campaigns leading into Steam Next Fest (next week!).
Their team has moved LIGHTNING fast and already massively overdelivered on tight timelines. If the last couple weeks are any indication, we’re about to do some great things together.
Today is a slow news day for Sparkball compared to tomorrow, we are just getting started. Until then, welcome to our new Sparkniacs? (Niaballers? Somballs?)!
Here’s a quick brief on who we are:
@playSparkball = 4v4 sports brawler on PC. It’s REALLY fun and you should come play with us
@liveSparkadia = Our IP, ecosystem platform, and community. Adds all new ways to engage with the gameplay of Sparkball
BE OPTI = A better world can be PLAYED into existence. Be positive, make friends, and help Sparkadia be a happy community, not a toxic one.
Only one thing left… LET’S PLAY SPARKBALL!!!

⚛️ Last month, we announced our partnership with @Atoma_Network to bring decentralized AI to Linera.
Now, we have a deeper technical explainer on how Atoma’s AI inference works on Linera’s microchains.

⛓️ Announcing : Linera x Walrus
We're integrating @WalrusProtocol as our storage layer—bringing scalable, real-time onchain data storage to microchains.
🧵 👇
L1 blockchain @Linera_io has chosen Walrus as its storage buddy 🦭
Linera’s microchains + Walrus’ onchain blobs = instant scalability, real-time data, and no centralized headaches.
Walrus is here to help L1s and L2s store their data.

Announcing Linera x @DeCharge__
We're teaming up to revolutionize EV charging infrastructure using blockchain technology.
A thread on how this partnership will decentralize the future of electric mobility.👇🧵 #DePIN
So stoked to announce our new strategic partnership with @linera_io!
TLDR: we’re redefining how real-time EV Charging data processing will work!
Our partnership is focused on further decentralizing data storage, processing, and user incentivization across @DeCharge__ 's global EV charging network.
We’ll be leveraging @linera_io's microchain architecture to process real-time data from the messaging layer and user interfaces - enabling instant, seamless rewards and engagement. This allows us to retain our roots in Solana while supercharging our ability to process on-chain user interactions at scale.
This also enables us to provide users newer user incentives and expand our integrations into broader Web3 apps seamlessly.
The goal is to build the new decentralised energy internet and bring it to everyone, everywhere - and this partnership marks a step in that direction for us 🫡
