Iran spent 40 years dispersing, duplicating and burying critical infrastructure. Russia did the opposite, assuming no one would dare strike deep inside its territory and that its vast geography would keep key facilities beyond reach.
So it centralized production in giant, exposed and often irreplaceable sites.
Large target + monopoly function + long recovery time = strategic vulnerability.
Russia is not Iran.
