New paper alert! Sulfur isotopes evidence Pleistocene faunal spatial ecology - 100s of data points, years of combined research effort, and an isotope-zooarch-zooms collab. Congrats to @Sarah_Barakat_ who led this to fruition!

Currently stuck on a broken down Eurostar, but do come meet @tait_frankie and Anna Wagner at the @ESHE_society poster session Friday afternoon to learn more about their COEXIST projects on refining late Neanderthal chronologies and integrating #Zooarchaeology and #ZooMS.
We are approaching conference season! We are currently preparing 9 presentations for 4 conferences, and look forward to sharing some of our first COEXIST project results, and more! #archsci #Palaeoproteomics #ZooMS #Zooarchaeology
At ESHE (Paris) both COEXIST PhD students will be presenting posters on faunal assemblages in Central and Southeast Europe, @tait_frankie on refining chronologies, and Anna Wagner on rethinking subsistence integrating #Zooarchaeology and #ZooMS. @ESHE_society
AT ICAZ AGPM (Copenhagen) Anna will give a talk contrasting her current #ZooMS results from Germany and Romania, while Geoff will present his #ZooMS results from the British Middle Pleistocene site of Victoria Cave. @ICAZ_News

It’s so cool! We just had a site (Mesolithic) where we had analysed unidentified mammal bone - a small amount of zooms with @archaeoprotein doubled the species representation and the isotopes (before we got the zooms results) told us we had a marine feeder. It was a cetacean!
