Just received a message to say that the waiting list for ADHD assessment with AWP (NHS service) is 6yrs, if I would like I can be referred to a private service with a shorter waiting list - I checked, the private service costs £900

Nobody ever mentions this ADHD wound. quietly believing your entire life that nobody actually wants to be your friend. that if you called to hang out you'd be bothering them. that if you invited them somewhere you'd be an inconvenience. and every friendship you have is one you're grateful for on the assumption they'll leave soon.
My mood has taken a dip so I'm heading off to bed for a bit. At least I've got one of my goals for the day out of the way, yay for that.
