Basically no cryptography, no matter how secure it might appear today, is completely off the table for future ai breakthroughs in math. The real moat is cryptographic agility. The ability to continually adapt and upgrade security without breaking the network or forcing everyone to start again. Starknet coded.
there is no world in which it's reasonable to build mostly immutable systems like blockchains on math assumptions that will almost certainly require at least major parameter adjustments, given the speed of advances in AI... coming from someone who built their entire phd thesis on lattices; I love the math and lattice structures, but this statement is just not taking into account practical aspects on where we're heading. 👎

Pionyr uses fully homomorphic encryption to compute on data without decrypting it or holding a key that can read it. @PoUTNetwork applies this to the x402 handshake: AI agents publish prices and pay each other without an account or checkout, the amount staying encrypted on Ethereum Sepolia with Zama's fhEVM. solana:FQ47SAH4xuRJArffifAbqZSX1kq3ewE3GxnLuGYypump Dev previous project did 13M mcap on a pretty low volume chain if not dead, Avax chain $PoUT

If you’re 21-27, you’re at the peak. Take risks and try out stupid shit. Please don’t focus on career and long term partnerships. Focus on what truly matters: substance abuse and investing in crypto

Wrapped zkAPI + Tor + extra cover traffic + local LLM prompt rewriting in an open-AI compatible daemon, and made a "paranoid mode" wrapper for my agent harness (pi): Each conversation gets assigned a separate Tor circuit, your requests are masked with random cover traffic, zkAPI ensures you don't leak your identity through payments, and all prompts are locally rewritten (bring-your-own-local-model; I'm using qwen3.8-flash-next) github.com/vbuterin/zkapi/tr… My agent harness is wrapped with a bwrap sandbox (also experimenting with MicroVM) and wrapped again with torsocks, so everything it does goes through Tor. Here's what me asking it to do a simple research task looks like. It's getting quite usable! Though you definitely still pay quite a bit in increased latency, especially when starting a new conversation. Also, Tor is far from optimal here for privacy; the cover traffic mechanism is okay against passive adversaries but much weaker if the LLM provider is colluding with the guard and actively manipulating timing. This kind of task really requires a more specialized mixnet, probably take the tradeoff of a higher bandwidth multiplier and built-in constant cover traffic. Also also, much cheaper zkAPI deposit and withdraw gas costs are coming to mainnet soon.

I think one of the easiest ways to give yourself alpha in these markets is to make friends with people much smarter than you, so you know who to copytrade If you’re the smartest person in the room, well, it’s probably not a very good room

This time last year there was an actual ZK race to be the first to hit real-time proving on a single GPU. Succinct (SP1), Boundless (RISC Zero) and ZKSync (Airbender) were the primary direct competitors if you remember. One year later, Airbender comes out on top on single-GPU efficiency and real-time performance.
Big congratulations to the @zksync airbender team for this milestone. At this point, I consider the battle for speed to be definitively won, and the top priority for zkEVMs should shift fully to security. To me that means formally verifying (i) equivalence of the arithmetization to the ethereum spec (ii) a hard maximum bound on (prover cost) / (amount of gas in block) (iii) security of the proof system itself firefly.social/post/x/211001…

You own the asset. You should be able to afford to borrow against it. Bima’s collar loan markets are now LIVE on Base, BNB, and ETH. We’re bringing down the cost of capital. Here’s how. 🧵
