Is it even possible to cram more weasel words into a single sentence? A “small group” is “discreetly advising” lawmakers to “prepare” for the “possibility” that Trump “will attempt” to interfere, all “according to people involved.” The whole thing is yet another brazen hoax.
A small group of U.S. national security officials has been discreetly advising state and congressional lawmakers on how to prepare for the possibility that the Trump administration will attempt to interfere in the midterms, according to people involved. wapo.st/3WjVke5

Where does the rot come from? 40.8 million more migrants in Europe between 2000 and 2024. +67%. UK +7.1M. Spain +6.8M. Germany +6.4M. France +3M. Nobody voted for this. No referendum. No manifesto that said "we're going to transform your country in a single generation." And yet it happened everywhere, all at once. Because the real decisions are no longer made where people vote. They're made in supreme courts that interpret asylum law in only one direction. In European case law that ties the hands of elected governments. In administrations that don't enforce deportations. And in an ecosystem of NGOs, funded by taxpayers and big foundations, that turns every attempt at control into a moral scandal. The institutions have been captured by an ideology: one that sees borders as immoral, and the citizen who worries about them as the problem. A civilization isn't a territory with a GDP. It's a language, customs, trust between strangers, a relationship to the law, to women, to free speech. It gets passed down. It doesn't survive mass inflows without assimilation. We abandoned assimilation. We kept the inflows. The next 5 to 15 years will decide whether Europe stays Europe. Give migration decisions back to voters. Reform asylum law. Enforce deportations. Demand assimilation. Not in 20 years. Now. After that, it'll be too late.
Objectively, the “Great Replacement” has already occurred

There is one smarmy Chicago politician who would prosper in burning Paris— the spineless “failed mob banker “ Alexi Giannoulis
For someone attempting to position himself as the "Progressive Lite" candidate for mayor, @Giannoulias getting chummy with two bone-deep Chuy Marxists — Patty Garcia and Juylu Gutierrez — is a bad look. Perhaps Alexi is actually more progressive than he would want us to believe.

Ah. So they DO have a line you can’t cross. Same thing in any classroom or school. There is always a line. The question is where you draw it. The Louvre is where France chose to draw the line.
French police warned protesters: "If you approach the Louvre Museum in Paris, we will open fire!"
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
French police issued no such warning to open fire near the Louvre. Coverage of the Oct 17-19 protests details non-lethal crowd control like tear gas amid clashes and a small peaceful student blockade of the museum. thelocal.fr/20261019/prote… lemonde.fr/societe/live/2… leparisien.fr/societe/direct…

More than any other nation in Europe, France has suffered decades of attacks and riots linked to lax border and immigration policies. It has one of Europe’s largest Muslim populations relative to its size, and the country has become a breeding ground for resentment and extremism. @DouglasKMurray on whether France will survive “ceaseless attacks from discontents inside the country.” Read his latest column here: bit.ly/4sjv9QW

Zohran Mamdani said something similar during his campaign. Across the Atlantic, you hear the same thing about France, with people claiming that “French police are inspired by Israel.” Mind you, France has canceled numerous contracts with Israel and even recognized a Palestinian state. But none of that seems to matter, and I don't think that's a coincidence. Third Worldism needs a big, permanent enemy to keep the struggle going, and that enemy is always the imperial "North", with Israel portrayed as its natural ally. France, being a former colonial power and a Western country, fits perfectly into that narrative. And no matter how many concessions it makes, there will always be another grievance. The whole ideology depends on keeping that resentment alive.

'CHAOS INC': Fox News Digital investigation identifies 101 organizations across 9 countries coordinating a growing protest network that has already put 500,000 demonstrators in the streets of France. Activists are calling supporters back to the streets Saturday for "Acte II," with 212 mobilizations planned and a coordinated European youth strike set for Nov. 20. The network spans communist, socialist, Antifa and Islamist groups in what investigators describe as a "red-green" alliance, with U.S.-based amplifiers including CodePink and organizations funded by American tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham.
