In a game that wasn't always pretty, Nebraska was able to make more big plays than Michigan State to win their conference opener.

Nebraska has lost 9 straight conference games when it entered the game 1 game above even in conference play. The last time Nebraska was 2 games above even in conference play was in 2017 when it started 2-0 against Rutgers and Illinois

The Blackshirts hadn't had at least two interceptions and six sacks in a game since 2015. They did so in the win at Michigan State.
This was the first game since the 2015 Rutgers game where Nebraska had 6+ sacks and 2+ interceptions. A great defensive effort by the Blackshirts
With today's 31-13 victory over Michigan State, Nebraska improves to 9-1 in palindrome games all time. Their last was a 42-24 win over Rutgers in 2014.
