One of the best times of the semester for me is giving my final exam. So many students give me a sincere thank you after they hand in their exam 🥰 The best part about being a professor is seeing students learn and grow. The truth is, I learn and grow with my students too.

At UChicago giving a talk. I have a complex relationship with this place. As a college freshman here, I almost died from anorexia. 12 years later I was back as a post-doc. Now, I’m here as a tenured prof to discuss my book on eating disorders. Life is bizarre and beautiful.
